I hate Mondays!

I have a case of the Monday's! I really don't like Mondays. Anyways, to catch up the last couple of days have been a little hectic. I finally got directv with dvr in my room, YAY! The best part is, it was FREE! So they told me they were going to install in between 8-12 in the morning of course, but didn't come around until almost 2. Which royally screwed up my working plans. All in all it is really really cool and I am extremely please. Thursday night was my friend Ashley's 21st birthday so we went out to the Ale house with her roomies. It was a lot of fun to hang out with her again! Then Friday was the free concert in 5 points that Kevin and I skipped out on, but would have never skipped out on only if we knew Travis Barker was going to be there, because he is a great drummer! Then sadly there plane crashed, really awful. I hope they will be alright. Braxton was here this weekend and of course was a mess and all over the place but it is always nice to see him. He loved playing with the puppies and is talking so much more. He even called the puppies by there names, and he loved say DARLA!!! :) I was slack and didn't take any pictures of him. Saturday night was Ashley's family party for her birthday. It was nice to see all of her family again, it has been a really long time, and all the little ones have grown up soooo much. It is hard to believe how much everybody has grown up! It was a blast! Sunday not too much was going on, I finally got to relax with Kevin and enjoy the cooler weather! :)

PUPPIES!

Things have been a little bit hectic this past weekend. I knew going into this weekend I would be doing a lot of cleaning with the upcoming bunco night, and also preparing food and what not for bunco night. What I didn't know was that I would have to be doing all of that and helping take care of TWO puppies! Adorable of course. My parents have been talking about getting a dachshund puppy, just one from what I understand. So Saturday we went and looked at this ladies dapple male, and we all fell in love with him!

His name is Petey, and he was born July 17th and is 4.6 pounds as of Saturday. So we get him of course and then go get everything we need for a new puppy. Know don't forget these are my parents dogs, they wanted them. We bring him home after a long trip to Petsmart and then a stop to get some pizza for dinner. He does great, and sleeps through the night, and we have had only one accident since his arrival. The best thing about him is that he loves to cuddle! :) So cute! Last night, Monday, my parents get a call back from another breeder about looking at there little girl dachshund so they do, and of course they come home with another cute puppy!

This is Darla! We have not weighed her yet but I image she weighs a little bit more then Petey. She was born on July 16th just a day before Petey! She is NUTS! All over the place loves to run around and jump in your face. We thought Petey was so playful but she is double! She did not do so good her first night. They both will sleep with my parents but this one just wouldn't quite go to sleep so they decided to put her back in her playpen right by my door so I could be awakened by her howling! So I end up bringing her into my room with me and but her in the bed. Well that didn't work she was all over my face. She would not go to sleep at all. Finally I think around 1:30-2 she falls asleep but is up about 5:30. So I am a little groggy today to say the least. It was her first night away from her normal and her brothers and sisters. I'm sure she will improve as she gets more comfortable. They both go to the vet Friday for there next shots. So things are good but a little chaotic.

New blogger!

I am super excited about blogging! Thanks to Laura Oliver and her husband. I found this really cool blog site and also got some insite and cute pictures on there family and how there sweet little girls are doing. I chose Life is good as my title because things are going well, for the most part. Other than then possible crashing of our worlds economy and the rising ridicule gas prices, things are pretty good. My wonderful boyfriend filled my tank up for me last night about 9:00 pm at $3.65 a gallon and then only an hour later at the same gas station it was raised to $3.99. Wow! So needless to say I am very glad we got gas when we did. I hope everybody was able to fill there tank up. Oh and last but not least, tomorrow is the USC vs. Georgia Bulldogs. I am honestly not quite sure how that game will turn out, I hope it turns out in USC's favor. We shall see! GoOoOoOo COCKS!!! (for your viewing pleasure)

I am sure that the Georgia fans will understand. Bulldogs just look better in garnet and black! :)
